Welcome to Light-Space Love’s development roadmap!

This is a public, living outline laying out the roadmap for the creation of Light-Space Love from start to finish. Since this is a living document, that means this document is subject to change as development progresses; this just serves as a general idea to give an idea of our plans for this game  – while trying to avoid spoilers! 

This document also doesn’t include all of the content that is planned for each release. For example, each mission release will include a new planet/station, new lewd events, new characters and a new fully playable game over scene – and mission releases will be broken up into multiple releases.

Prototype Build (Done)

Create initial build for Light-Space Love with Stage 0 of Main Episode and some additional content such as the Piloting Simulation game mode, 1-2 Barmaid Events, etc.

Unity Migration (Done)

Migrate Light-Space Love’s build from Godot to the Unity engine for better code management and stability – migration includes new content, such as the Game Over Scene and additional sex scenes. 

Migration Testing Phase (Done)

Send out call for testers and enter the testing phase for Unity Migration to increase stability for future releases.

Testing phase will include some quality of life, interface and gameplay changes based on player feedback – each future release will have their own testing phase moving forward. 

Unity Migration Release (Done)

Release Light-Space Love’s updated client – now running in the Unity Engine! Currently releasing on schedule according to tier. SubcribeStar/Patreon Release:

Episode 1 Release (In Progress)

• Phase 1 (Done)
  • Revamp maps, dialogue and lewd scenes for Kardassimin Prison.
  • Add Dialogue Auto-Play & Skip.
  • Add Stealth.
  • Add additional skill check rolls.
• Phase 2 (Done)
  • Add all sex variations for Grappled status effect.
  • Integrate Trial of Piety game mode.
  • Revamp maps, dialogue, and lewd scenes on Linessa’s return to Deep 69.
• Phase 3 (Done)
  • Add Lizardman planet and start the tournament questline.
  • Add in some significant changes to how Combat (Diplomacy) works – adding additional phases to encounters, as well as allowing Lust and Pleasure to be used as a resource to empower or even activate some of Linessa’s abilities. The goal is to make combat feel like more of a “negotiation” that can turn lewd.

  • (Diplomacy Overhaul) Start adding in a “Sex/Position” system – which will be similar to the grappling condition system – starting with the Handjob skill, then moving onto higher Indecency skills.

  • Finish any unfinished scenes for Episode 1.

This release will include the martial arts game mode – help Linessa train with a series of rowdy (and raunchy) training “partners!”

Piloting Simulation Revamp & Drinking Competition Game Mode (Not Started)

Update the Pilot Simulation Game Mode, making the simulation itself a more central focus of the game mode as well as having the events that occur within the simulation affect Linessa.

Release the Drinking Competition game mode between Captain Star and her Chief Security Officer. Can Linessa hope to outdrink her intimidating opponent? Or will the many patrons fill them both up with something else?

Kardassimin Prison Wrap-Up

Wrap up any remaining unfinished content for the Kardassimin Prison -- including the new game mode starring Oktaria.

Futa Side Episode Release (Not Started)

Release the first side mission for Light-Space Love – the futanari side story! Adds a new fully playable “futanari” game over, new sex & masturbation scenes and a new tile-based exploration gameplay entirely unique to this side mission. This episode may be broken up into fewer phases than main episode releases.

Episode 2 Release (Not Started)

Release the second phase of the main story mission – adding in new sex scenes, a new love interest, events and a new game over scene. This release will also further build up Linessa & Leslie’s romantic options

Pregnancy Integration (Not Started)

Integrate pregnancy and birthing scenes into Light-Space Love – allowing Linessa to start getting pregnant and give birth when impregnated by different Xenos she encounters.

Memory Bank Integration

Integrate the Memory Bank, allowing Linessa to use memory bytes and to convert genetic samples into memory bytes in order to unlock different memories she’s collected throughout her travels.

Cum Overlay Integration (for Sex Positions)

Integrate allowing cum to stay on Linessa after being cummed on (or getting creampied) by another character/enemy during encounters while having sex.

Xeno Outreach Game Mode Release (Not Started)

As part of her duties as Captain of Repopulation Colony: Deep 69, Linessa must stay maintain open lines of communication with the Xeno factions within her Gal-sector. Help her as she strengthens relationships with faction leaders -- though some may respond favorably to a more "involved" negotiation, which her crew would be more than happy to help with.

Bartender Game Mode Release (Not Started)

Complete the Barmaid side job events and create the drink-mixing game mode where Linessa works as a Bartender

Includes adding in the final stages of the Barmaid events as well as adding a daily repeatable Barmaid event with a new, more revealing Barmaid outfit.

This release will also introduce a 3-way romance path.

Xeno-Spa Game Mode Release (Not Started)

Release the Xeno-Spa/Bathhouse game mode – allowing Linessa to help herself (and the citizens of Repopulation Colony: Deep 69) keep clean – or get dirty – whatever happens is up to you.

Episode 3 Release (Not Started)

Release the third phase of the main story mission – including new sex scenes, an additional romantic option for Linessa, lewd events and new characters.

Wild West Simulation Release (Not Started)

Release Linessa’s optional story-driven Wild West Simulation events – will contain some “simulated” non-consent content.

Sleep Sex Game Mode (Not Started)

Release the “Open Invitation” game mode for when Linessa invites her crewmembers to “visit” her while she sleeps in her Quarters.

Alien Creatures Side Episode Release (Not Started)

Release the optional side mission which will contain A LOT of alien creature content.

Cum Overlay Integration (Expanded)

Integrate allowing cum to stay on Linessa after being cummed on (or getting creampied) by another character/enemy to expand into new areas (such as game mode, dialogue and navigation).

Portals Game Mode Release (Not Started)

Release the portal game mode where you play as Mizzy to collect genetic samples via portals! This release will also further build up Linessa & Mizzy’s romantic path.

Erotic Dancer Events (Not Started)

Create events for Linessa’s side gig as an erotic dancer at LaGrange’s Cantina. This event may be replaced by the Comfort Officer game mode – or it may be added as a stretch goal.

Comfort Officer Game Mode (Not Started)

Create the game mode for Linessa’s side gig as a comfort officer at LaGrange’s Cantina.

Episode 4 Release (Not Started)

Release the third phase of the main mission – adding in new sex scenes, events and a new game over scene.

Facelover(?) Side Episode Release (Not Started)

Release the optional facelover side mission – this mission will take Linessa to a dangerous planet filled with strange alien creatures that want nothing more than to turn her into their breeding slave.  Will PRIMARILY consist of breeding, oviposition, tentacles, lactation and birthing content.

Final Episode Release (Not Started)

Add in the final confrontation between Linessa & ******.

Stretch Goals

This section is reserved for some additional content I’d like to add to Light-Space Love dependent on different funding goals reached.

• Map Update (Currently WIP)

  • Update the look of the map for Light-Space Love – instead of using a top-down D&D style map, get pixel art for character sprites and assets in order to navigate via a side-scroller style world.

• Animated Birthing Scene (Not Started)

  • Get Linessa’s unique birthing scenes animated.

• Animated Romance Sex Scenes

  • Get each Sex Scene between Linessa and her romantic partners animated.

• Racing Game Mode

  • Release turn-based racing game mode with some unique “lewd” mechanics, artwork and scenarios.

• New Lewd Events

  • Add new lewd events to each world and previous missions/side missions. Such as:
    • Market/ShopKeep “Advertising” Campaign
    • A “Unique” Way to Serve Patrons in the Cantina
    • Add additional Events that only occur when Linessa is pregnant (such as “serving milk” in the Cantina)
    • Xeno-Werewolf Romance Side Mission
    • Additional Exhibitionist Scenes

• Revamp Diplomacy Sex System

  • Completely revamp the sex system in Diplomacy to give a lot more variation in the sex situations and replace the approx 90% of cut-ins with in-Diplomacy sex sprites.

• Xeno Stream (Streamer/Broadcaster Game Mode)

  • Create game mode where Captain Star can broadcast to the entire Gal-Sector and “advertise” the perks of signing up for Repopulation Colony: Deep 69.

• Animated Breeding Station

  • Add animated sex scenes showing Breeding Station crewmembers “repopulating” with members of different Xeno species that you’ve allied with.

• New NSFW Game Project

  • Once Light-Space Love’s final mission is released, I’ll work full-time on a new roguelite NSFW game project in the Light-Space Love universe. Details TBD…
